Sorry to be harsh but she did.
She told you that if you ever owned your own salon, you needed to fill your diary and that would make you successful.
And maybe that advice worked 10 years ago…
But now?
Nuh-uh!
That advice is dated.
You’d have to be living under a rock to not see how much the world is changing right now.
Everything is shifting.
Technology is advancing at such a rate.
The way we work, communicate and show up is changing.
And yet, for some crazy reason, you think that the way you ran a salon in 2007 still works now.
It doesn’t.
Now, the core elements are still relevant – true.
Excellent treatments.
Desired results for clients.
Yes… that is still required.
But the way we run the business?
Well that’s changed dramatically.
And sadly, I see salon after salon falling behind and ultimately on a fast track to failure – even though I know I can not only stop them failing, but get them thriving and profitable.
Because now…
→ Clients expect more
→ Teams expect leadership
→ Costs are rising
→ Competition is increasing
And the salons that thrive in the next decade will not be the busiest.
They will be the best run.
There are two types of salons right now…
Ones that will thrive.
And ones that will fail.
I don’t say this to scare you – I say it to empower you.
Because I want you in the former camp – I want you to have a salon that thrives.
Add to thrive now, you need to know so much more than how to deliver an exceptional facial or be an incredible masseuse.
Now you need to understand
→ business strategy
→ pricing psychology
→ team leadership
→ financial clarity
→ and long-term growth
When people ask me what I do in a nutshell, I always say this “I teach salon owners how to run a business, because they never learned it in college”.
Don’t get me wrong – college taught you all you need to know to be an excellent therapist or stylist.
But, it doesn’t teach you how to run a business.
And if you don’t have these additional skills in this day in age, you’re just doing a job with overheads.
But understand business better?
Understand strategy?
Get systems in place?
Then you’re a salon CEO.
And you’re unstoppable.
Because that is the future of the salon world right now…
It belongs to the CEOs.
And if you want to step into the role of being one, I can help.
That’s when everything changes.
I’ve just announced a brand new free-to-attend webclass which will help you with all of this, and more.
It’s called the Freedom Formula – and it’s for busy salon owners who want to increase their profits whilst reducing their salon hours.
If that sounds like you then click here to register, for free.
You’ll be pleased that you did.
It takes place, LIVE, on Monday 20th April at 7pm.
