We’ve talked a whole lot about bringing people IN to your business – but what if you’re the kind of person who likes to go OUT to your clients?

There are HUGE opportunities within the mobile industry – the luxury of not even having to leave your house for a treatment is quite special….. But, how do you make sure YOU are the one they call for this luxury?

Well here are 6 places to start to take your mobile beauty business to the next level.

1. Advertising

As a mobile therapist, you’ll have no premises which is great in terms of your reduced costs. What this also means, however, is you’ll have no visibility – no one will know you exist unless you tell them.

Therefore, advertising is key – you should try Facebook, adverts, magazines, editorial, Twitter – get yourself out there so they know you are ready to deliver optimum treatments!

Try one new advertising avenue this week – on a small scale – and measure the results to see how you do. You’ll never know until you try.

2. Communicate

Communication is key to a successful mobile beauty business.

Once they’ve found about you, speak to them through emails, texts, blogs, your Facebook – remind them you are there, share interesting information with them and keep their attention so that when they are ready for their next treatment you are at the forefront of their minds.

3. Be Passionate

Parting from your hard earned pounds for a luxurious massage or a pre-party spray tan is a big deal for people – and they want to give their money to someone who enjoys doing what they do.

Be positive and passionate about beauty – it’s a fabulous industry with so much to offer!

If you don’t enjoy it, you’ll never have a successful business – no one wants a facial from someone who’d rather be at home watching Jeremy Kyle.

Remember that people buy people so wear your heart on you sleeve and a smile on your face!

Do you feel like this at the thought of seeing a client?

4. Website

Whilst Facebook will be an invaluable resource to source clients, a website is also an essential tool.

Your site will be the first place they can really get to know you – and it should be a place you pack with great things that your potential clients would love to hear about.

Make sure they know a bit about you, your availability, the services you offer and your pricing options.

Most importantly give them a reason to get in touch with you – an offer which is irresistible to your clients would be a great place to start!

5. Online Bookings

It’s becoming more and more popular for people to just jump on line and book treatments quickly and easily nowadays.

Having this built into your own website can be expensive and a challenge so instead use a system to make it simple for your clients to reserve your services.

If it’s difficult for them to book with you, they’ll find someone else who makes it easier for them.

6. Back Up Your Qualifications And Experience

It’s important to clients that you tick the relevant boxes to be able to deliver the right treatment – and you have the insurance back up if something goes wrong.

Registering with beauty guilds or national brands will help your credentials and people will automatically have more trust in you if you are part of a bigger business.

Remember that nothing will change unless you do something different.

Make a promise to yourself to make one change this week to get you on the right path to taking your mobile beauty business to the next level.
